Larry Kent Quake, 77, of South Haven and New Port Richey, Fla., passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2105 in New Port Richey, Fla. Born in Three Rivers to Ilene and Charles Quake, he lived most of his life in Three Rivers.
Larry was a business owner who owned and operated L&R Asphalt and Three Rivers Machine. He retired from American Metal Fab in Three Rivers. In his spare time, he was an avid outdoorsman and operated Easy Touch Charter Service and loved boating and fishing.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Ilene Phillips and Charles Jay Quake; his stepfather, George Phillips, Sr.; and his brother, Thomas Quake. He is survived by a brother, George (Kimberly) Phillips Jr.; his wife, Judith Quake; two daughters with Julia Richard, Penny (Randy) Ream, and Lari Jay Roberts both of Three Rivers; three stepchildren, Cary Lambert of Holland, Mich., Vicki (Jack) Rodden of La Grange, Ill. and Brad Lambert of South Haven. Larry is also survived by six grandchildren, Trevor Ream, McKenzie (Brandon) Morrill and Chelsey Roberts of Three Rivers, and Mike, Joe, and Katie Rodden of La Grange, Ill. as well as three great grandchildren, Joslyne, Brody and Breckon.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
