Menno N. Eicher, age 88 years, 4 months, 20 days, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016 at his home.
Menno was born Sept. 14, 1927, in Fort Wayne, Ind., a son to the late Pete and Mary (Neussbaum) Eicher.
On Feb. 15, 1951 he married Rebecca K. Hilty.
He is survived by his children, John (Clara) Eicher of Lagrange, Ind., Andy (Deliliah) Eicher of Berne, Ind., Joe (Ida) Eicher of Middlefield, Ohio, Kathryn (Joe) Eicher of Jefferson, Ohio, Maggie (Joe) Schwartz of Centreville, Mary Eicher of Colon, Amanda Russell of Millersburg, Ohio, Pete (Carol) Eicher of Petersburg, Tenn., Noah (Mary) Eicher of Celina, Ohio, Menno (Maggie) Eicher of Sturgis, Anna (Ira) Bontrager of Bristol, Ind., Jake (Viola) Eicher of Mendon, Willie (Josephine) Eicher of Mendon, David (Esther) Eicher of Sugarcreek, Ohio, Henry (Loretta) Eicher of Mendon, Becky (Brian) Crothers of White Pigeon; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Amos Eicher of Hudson, Ky.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitations will be after 2 p.m. Thursday and all day Friday at Double M Community Building, 59321 Nottawa Road, Centreville.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at the community building, with Bishop Oba Borkholder and home ministers officiating. Burial will follow in Old Order Amish Cemetery in rural Centreville.
