Parks Department looking for public input

Here’s a reminder that St. Joseph County’s Parks and Recreation Department is staging a public-input session Thursday in Centreville.
The agency is asking the public for input into the development of a master plan for a newly acquired piece of property on the St. Joseph River. Working in conjunction with the design firm Edgewater Resources of St. Joseph, the county has scheduled what is being promoted as a public-visioning session.
The property is northeast of the historic Langley Covered Bridge, and has been envisioned as both a public park and potential event venue.
The session starts at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Joseph County Parks and Recreation building, at 602 E. Main St.
