Sharla Swartz, 70

Sharla M. Swartz, age 70, of Marcellus, MI passed away Friday, February 5, 2016.
She was born February 22, 1945 in Three Rivers, MI, the daughter of Valentine and Nonabelle Beadle. On December 9, 1967 she married Roger Swartz and he survives.
Sharla graduated from Watersmeet High School in 1962. She was a 4-H member and learned to sew many items. She worked for Taylormaid and the Marcellus Community Schools Food Service. She also worked many hours on the family farm helping feed the many animals. Sharla especially enjoyed spending time with her husband, kids and grandchildren.
Surviving besides her husband Roger, are two sons, Darryl (Stef) Swartz, Richard (Robin) Swartz both of Marcellus; one daughter, Tina (Bob) Daugherty also of Marcellus; six grandchildren, Dylan, Nathan, Rebecca, Samantha, Seth and Allison; two sisters Betty Schten and Teresa Wasson and sister-in-law Jan Beadle; several nieces, nephews and in-laws. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene Beadle and Hank Beadle and sister-in-law Jeanie Beadle. A very special thank you to Karen Westfall for everything.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 P.M. Saturday, February 13, 2016 in the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, Marcellus. Memorial services will follow at 3 PM. Memorial donations may be directed to Southwest Michigan Hospice or Alzheimer’s Association, Michigan Great Lakes Chapter.
