Arline June Scott, age 92, of Three Rivers passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 28, 2016 surrounded by her family at Fairview Living Centre. She was born in Schoolcraft, MI. on August 3, 1923 to the late William Wallace Gray and Olive Marie (Prough) Gray.
Arline was a graduate of Mattawan High School Class of 1940. She and her husband Robert D. Scott were united in marriage on December 3, 1941 when they made Three Rivers their home. Arline enjoyed working in her yard, tending to her flower beds, and was awarded by the City of Three Rivers for her landscape. She also enjoyed crocheting mittens and hats, and was an avid Notre Dame fan. Her favorite past time was shopping and spending time with children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert D. Scott, and one brother, Llewellyn Gray
Arline is survived by her sons Randy (Ann) Scott and Stephen (Ruth) both of Three Rivers; grandchildren, Carrie Ann (Bryan) Balk, Brian Randall (Andrea) Scott, Stacie Lyn (Cody) Back, Stephanie Ann Scott, Andrea Marie (Charles)McCluskey, and Christa Rae Hammond; great grandchildren, Arianna Marie and McKinlee Ann Back, Brayden Lee and Collin Bradley Balk, Lucas Randall Scott, Charles Robert McCluskey( a.k.a. Bear), Austin Robert Hammond, and Jonathan Michael Hammond.
Private graveside services will be held at Riverside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the Charity of One’s Choice. Envelopes available at Hohner Funeral Home in care of arrangements. Online condolences may be left at www.hohnerfh.com.
