Fabius woman announces county clerk candidacy

A Fabius Township resident has announced she is running for the office of St. Joseph County clerk/register of deeds in the 2016 election.
Melissa Marsh made the announcement Monday and has incorporated the campaign slogan “Morals Matter.”
She said she is focused on executing the responsibilities of both offices legally, morally and in a timely manner for the residents of St. Joseph County.
Marsh graduated from Central Michigan University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Marsh next month is hosting a pair of open houses as kickoffs for her candidacy: April 23 at Longstreet Living in Sturgis and April 30 at Scidmore Park in Three Rivers.
