Pat and Glenn Dane chosen as Citizens of the Year

The Three Rivers Lions Club has selected Pat and Glenn Dane of Three Rivers as this year’s “Bruce C. Snook Citizens of the Year.”
The Danes are familiar faces in the world of youth sports in Three Rivers, as they are long-time supporters of athletics for the community’s young people. Glenn also has a long record of service as a volunteer with the Three Rivers Fire Department, while Pat can often be found at his side as they volunteer in Three Rivers Sports Boosters activities.
Tickets for an April 26 banquet, during which the Danes will be honored, are $25 per person and on sale at Ridgeway Floral in Three Rivers through April 19.
Tickets will not be available at the door.
Since 1965, the Lions Club has recognized persons who, through a commitment to service, have given unselfishly of themselves for the betterment of the community.
