Authorities say two people suspected in robberies in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan have been taken into custody following a traffic stop.
The Steuben County sheriff’s department in Indiana says 32-year-old John Morgan and 29-year-old Nickole Collins were arrested early Monday near Cincinnati in Hamilton County, Ohio.
They’re awaiting extradition to Branch County, Michigan, where Morgan faces charges including bank robbery and conspiracy to commit bank robbery. Authorities say Collins is a suspected accomplice and faces charges including bank robbery.
The Daily Reporter of Coldwater reports they were wanted for a March 29 bank robbery, but also are suspects in 16 other robberies in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan since last June.
The Steuben County sheriff’s department earlier issued an alert asking people to be on the lookout for Morgan and Collins. (AP)
