Day of magic returns to Colon

A day of magic that made a strong debut in 2015 is returning to Colon this weekend.
Organized by Colon magician Ron Carnell and presented by Ring 386 of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, “31 Flavors of Magic” promises to deliver a variety of magic sure to appeal to people of all ages, Carnell said.
Sixteen performers, seven new shows, 21 shows in all and three street performers will all be a part of the day, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at a dozen different locations in the downtown area.
The format of 31 Flavors allows people to pick and choose the styles of magic they prefer to experience. The varieties include close-up, street performers, stage shows, parlor shows and kids’ shows.
All-day tickets are $5 for kids, $10 for adults and $25 for a family pack if purchased ahead of time. A ticket purchase will allow for admission to as few or many shows as one wishes to attend. They can be purchased online at: www.magic-festival.com.
Day-of tickets are $8 for kids, $15 for adults and $35 for a family pack. They can be purchased at Five Star Pizza starting at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
