Margo Baughman, 74

Margo I. (Wagner) Baughman, age 74, of Colon, drove away in her Jeep to meet her Lord, Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo.
Margo was born Feb. 1, 1942, in Union Township, a daughter of the late George W. and Dorothy (Davis) Wagner.
On May 18, 1978, she married Jerry O. Baughman in Colon.
Margo had lived all her life in the Colon and Union City area, graduating from Union City High School with the class of 1960.
She had worked for the former Lamb Knit Goods Company and later for 43 years at Colmer Division of Maxitrol Company in Colon, retiring in 2007.
Margo was a member of Colon American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, Sweet Adelines of Coldwater, Two Trackers 4-Wheel Drive Club of Kentwood and a life member of DAV.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Baughman of Colon; a son, John (Sharon) Rollins of Colon; step-children Jodi (Bud) Gross of Colon, Kendra (Carl) Dull of Goshen, Ind., and Chris Baughman of Colon; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; three sisters, Joan Ac Moody of Kalamazoo, Carol E. Pinsonneault of Coldwater and Janet Woods of Coldwater; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn Ryan.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Schipper Funeral Home in Colon. Funeral services celebrating the life of Margo Baughman will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at the funeral home, with the Rev. David J. Farrell officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Colon.
If desired, the family suggests memorials be made in memory of Margo to Colon Fire and Rescue or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital . Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
