Sturgis approves business signs

The Sturgis Township Planning Commission has approved sign permits for three new businesses.
Biggby Coffee will open Monday in the renovated storefront that previously housed Fawn River Meats on Fawn River Road, east of South Centerville Road.
Planning commissioners on Monday also granted sign plans for TSC and Dunham Sports, two businesses that will share the former Kmart building on South Centerville Road.
Township officials said TSC could be ready to relocate its Sturgis store and open at its new location in June. Dunham’s is expected to take longer and a tentative opening date for the sporting-goods retailer has not been announced.
A third sign permit was approved for H2 Storage, a new self-storage facility planned for White School Road, north of Hamilton Harley-Davidson on U.S. 12.
