Sturgis Meijer sets grand opening

Meijer in Sturgis has announced the date of its grand opening.
Company officials said the South Centerville Road store will open June 2, when Meijer officials and local dignitaries will mark the store’s first day of business with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Company officials from the Grand Rapids-based retailer said the store-opening event will feature special promotions to commemorate the store’s grand opening. The offers will begin June 5.
The retailer’s gas station opens May 5.
