Sturgis police arrested three men Friday night after responding to a domestic assault in the 200 block of Washington Street.
Officers around 10 p.m. attempted to take a 32-year-old man into custody, when he assaulted a Sturgis officer.
Officers then obtained a search warrant for the residence and discovered a small amount of methamphetamine and a large amount of marijuana, according to authorities.
The 32-year-old man was charged with assaulting a police officer, and three counts of resisting and obstructing a police officer.
A 33-year-old man in the residence was charged with possession of meth, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a drug house.
A third man, age 22, was charged with possession of marijuana, police said.
