A White Pigeon man was injured last week after the motorcycle he was driving was struck by a car that had failed to yield near an intersection in Fabius Township.
Sheriff’s department officials said the man was driving south on U.S. 131 shortly after 9 p.m. Friday when a SUV driven by a 72-year-old Mendon woman entered the roadway near Millard Road and was struck by the motorcycle.
The motorcycle driver sustained non-life threatening injuries and was wearing his helmet. He was transported to Three Rivers Health.
Meanwhile, investigators said the woman was cited for failure to yield.
A sheriff’s department media release did not include the names of the people involved.
