Sandie Swihart, 72

 Sandra Kay Swihart, age 72, of Three Rivers went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Borgess Medical Center. She was born on September 30, 1943 in Ypsilanti, MI the daughter of the late C. L. and Verladene (Beldin) Goodwill.

Sandie graduated Three Rivers High School with the Class of 1961. On February 14, 1987 she was united in marriage to Walter Swihart. Sandie was secretary of payroll for the Three Rivers School system for over twenty-three years before retiring. Sandie and Walt were very active and faithful members of Moorepark Community Church. Together they enjoyed selling “Mr. Sweet Corn” out of their home, where they made many lasting friendships.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband of thirty years, Walter “Walt” Swihart, of Three Rivers; one son, Marty (Sherri) Henschel, of Marcellus, MI.; two daughters, Missy (Chris) Rugg, of Scotts, MI., and Nicki (Allan) Neal, of Cookeville, TN.; grandchildren, Marshall Henschel III, Megan (Zac) Findlay, Austin Henschel, Brandon and Allison Rugg, Aaron, Alicia and Alex Swihart, Cody and Kelsee Neal; great grandchildren, Madie and Maxton Lockwood, Ayden Henschel, Kennedy Rugg, and Gracie Swihart.

Sandie’s family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Hohner Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the Moorepark Community Church with visitation one hour prior to services officiated by Pastor Bud Granger.

Interment will be held in Moorepark Cemetery, Three Rivers, MI.
