Shawn Blizzard, 43

Shawn R. Blizzard, age 43, of Sturgis, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at his home.
He was born Dec. 11, 1972, in Sturgis, a son of Larry R. and Sandra (Kidd) Blizzard.
Shawn had resided in Sturgis, South Carolina, and Texas for a short time.
He enjoyed playing guitar, powerlifting and his cat, Minx.
Surviving are two daughters, Ashley Blizzard of Constantine and Starla; a sister, Lisa (Anthony) Hahn; three brothers, Adam Blizzard, Paul (Michelle) Kilpatrick and Max Sites; his father, Larry R. Blizzard of Florida; and his mother, Sandra Sites of Sturgis.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Hubert.
Friends and relatives may call from noon-2 p.m. Saturday at Christian Fellowship Center, 201 North St., Sturgis, where services celebrating the life of Shawn R. Blizzard will be held at 2 p.m.
Interment will take place at a later date at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
