Organizers behind this year’s Paddle For Paws fundraiser have announced the event has been postponed a month due to circumstances beyond their control.
Sponsored by Upcycled Pets of St. Joseph County, Paddle For Paws is a benefit to help the Three Rivers-based organization offset food and medical expenses associated with foster pets in the program.
The event was supposed to take place July 9 but has been rescheduled for 9 a.m. Aug. 13. It involves a canoe ride from Floating Bridge Road to Liquid Therapy in downtown Three Rivers.
Cost is $40 per person and a canoe or kayak will be provided.
Anyone wishing to participate in the picnic portion only is advised to show up at noon at Liquid Therapy. The picnic-only portion of the event is $25.
More information is available on the group’s website: upcycledpets.com.
