H. Rosemary Johnson, age 81, of Three Rivers, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Fairview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Centreville. She was born in White Pigeon on Aug. 4, 1934 the daughter of Frank and Bonnie (Steele) Schultz. She was married to William T. Johnson in LaGrange, IN on Nov. 27, 1951, and has resided near Three Rivers since 1958. She was a member of the former Pine Street Club. She enjoyed crocheting, crosswords, bird watching, garage sales, and especially cooking for her family.
Rosemary is survived by four children, Vicky Fudge of Huntsville, AL, William R. Johnson and Debra Caley both of Three Rivers, and Sherry (Bret) Mayer of Jones; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; a sister, B. Juanita Weese of White Pigeon; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William in 1991; and by two sisters, Roma Schmidt and Helen Jacobs.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been conducted. A memorial service will be held at 11 am Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Corey Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Gary Carr officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will follow in Poe Cemetery. Memorials will be directed to Southern Care Hospice, 1911 W.
