Here’s a reminder that the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department is offering two final boater safety classes this season.
The remaining dates are Saturday and June 25 at the sheriff’s department. Each class runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and includes a break for lunch.
Participants must be at least 12 years old by the date of the class they plan to attend.
There is no cost, however, participants must reserve a space. Event organizers said space is limited at each of the remaining classes.
Registration can be done by phoning 467-9045, ext. 221. The participant’s name, address, date of birth and a contact number must be provided at the time of registration.
