Three arrested after heroin overdose

Three area residents were arrested in connection with the heroin overdose of a Three Rivers man.
According to a media release from the Three Rivers Police Department, a 28-year-old man was found unresponsive Friday evening at a residence in the 300 block of Heather Lane. Medical personnel were called after he had quit breathing.
Upon further investigation, authorities found a syringe in the victim’s possession.
Police arrested Shelly Ann Howard, 51, of Constantine, and Three Rivers residents Brent Tuckerman-Raymer, 35, and Rebecca Webber, 59.
An investigation found the victim had solicited Tuckerman-Raymer to acquire the heroin. Tuckerman-Raymer came into possession of the drug from Webber and allegedly gave it to Howard, the victim’s girlfriend.
An autopsy is being performed. Meanwhile, Howard, Tuckerman-Raymer and Webber are in the county jail.
