Glen Oaks Community College has announced that Chuck Frisbie has accepted the position as the college’s part-time director of institutional innovation.
In the newly created position, Frisbie will work with all units of the college to help with special and developing initiatives in areas such as grants, partnerships, program development, K-12 engagement and others, according to David Devier, Glen Oaks president.
Devier noted Frisbie’s role will focus on advancing the college’s service to students and the community.
The 54-year-old Frisbie recently retired as superintendent of Constantine Public Schools following a two-decade stint with Mendon Community Schools.
A Glen Oaks alumnus, Frisbie also once served as the school’s men’s basketball coach and instructor of physical education.
