Miller commends colleagues for budget work

State Rep. Aaron Miller, who serves as chair of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on State Police, has issued a statement in response to Gov. Rick Snyder signing the state’s budget for the coming fiscal year.
Miller said the Legislature has again produced a budget that invests in areas important to Michigan families – roads and bridges, education, public safety and health care.
He said they are imperative investments for Michigan’s future, and ensure that today’s children and grandchildren are provided an opportunity to find good jobs and enjoy a high quality of life in Michigan by the time they are old enough to work.
Miller said he commends his colleagues in the House and Senate for the hard work that went into drafting and approving months ahead of the deadline a common-sense, fiscally responsible spending blueprint.
