TR Chamber plans candidate forum

The Three Rivers Area Chamber of Commerce is providing residents a final opportunity to hear from local candidates involved in next week’s primary election.
A candidates’ forum involving only county positions takes place this evening in the Dresser Business Center at Glen Oaks Community College.
At 5:30 p.m., county treasurer candidates Gwen Donmyer and incumbent Judie Ratering are scheduled to start the forum.
Clerk and register of deeds candidates Melissa Marsh and Lindsay Oswald will follow at 6 p.m.
After a 15-minue intermission, candidates for county commission districts 1, 2 and 3 will begin at 6:45 p.m.
District 1 features Cody Sharpe and incumbent Allen Balog, though the two will not square off on the ballot until November.
District 2 is being sought by Chad Behrends, Kathy Pangle and incumbent Don Eaton.
District 3 candidates in the primary are Heather Bright, Dennis Allen and John Hyden.
