Tracy M. Norton, age 48, of Colon, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, after a short bout with cancer.
Tracy was born June 2, 1968 in Coldwater a daughter to John and Rosemarie S. (Comport) Honyoust.
She grew up in Union City, graduating from Union City High School with the Class of 1986 and has made her home in Colon for the past 26 years.
She married Kenneth Norton and they were later divorced.
Tracy had worked as a beautician in Colon and Coldwater. Tracy loved time spent with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by three Children; Kelsey Norton, Shane Norton and Megan Norton all of Colon fiancé, Ron Wing of Colon, three grandchildren; Wyatt, Sophia and Shaylee, sister, Theresa Marunde of White Pigeon, four brothers; John Honyoust of Virginia, Steven (Kim) Honyoust Battle Creek, James Honyoust of Tennessee and Scott (Venus) Honyoust of Angola, IN and several nieces and nephews.
Tracy was preceded in death by her mother Rosemarie Marble.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD. in Colon. Funeral services celebrating the life of Tracy M. Norton will be Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home with Rev David J. Farrell officiating. Cremation will follow with private interment of ashes in Leonidas Cemetery at a later date.
