A Kalamazoo woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash over the weekend in Fabius Township.
Carissa Jones, 18, was driving north on Day Road at 6:30 p.m. Sunday when she lost control of her vehicle in the 57000 block, near Dutch Settlement Road.
Jones had to be extricated from the vehicle and was airlifted to Borgess Medical Center. She was admitted in critical condition.
Sheriff’s department investigators said it appears Jones was not wearing a seatbelt.
