Paddle for Paws raises money for Up-Cycled Pets

The fourth annual “Paddle for Paws” fundraiser event last weekend in Three Rivers attracted about two dozen people, including 10 kayakers who traversed the Rocky River from Null Road in Flowerfield Township to Liquid Therapy in downtown Three Rivers.
Benefitting Up-Cycled Pets of St. Joseph County, the event took place Saturday after being rescheduled from July 9.
Lynda Molter, president of Up-Cycled Pets, said Paddle for Paws is the organization’s only fundraiser through the year and every dollar amount is used to help families fostering a dog through the Up-Cycled Pets program.
Molter said foster families and cash donations are desperately needed.
