Three Rivers police are investigating a property-damage/hit-and-run incident that occurred over the weekend.
According to a department media release, officers were called shortly before midnight Friday to the intersection of East Hoffman and Wood streets, where a vehicle failed to negotiate a turn and went off the roadway.
A resident reported hearing tires squeal and seeing a car traveling at a high rate of speed as it turned onto Wood Street.
The vehicle struck a power pole and a cement wall, then fled the scene.
Police said the suspect vehicle is likely a Mustang with damage to its front sides and front end.
