The Three Rivers City Commission lost six years of experience last week, as First District Commissioner Jared Hoffmaster announced his resignation from the seven-member board.
Hoffmaster, 34, said he and his family are moving to Fabius Township, necessitating his resignation from the city commission.
A lifelong Three Rivers resident, Hoffmaster said he will remain a member of the Three Rivers Area Community Foundation Board and the Three Rivers Rotary Club Board.
Any qualified First District resident interested in completing the 12-month balance of Hoffmaster’s term is advised to submit a letter of interest by Oct. 10 to city clerk Melissa Bliss. A form is available online and at city hall.
