Three Rivers Police arrested a man wanted on four outstanding warrants last week in an area near South Main Street.
According to a department media release, troopers observed a man and woman walking shortly before midnight Wednesday on South Main Street near Michigan Avenue. Officers had an idea the man was wanted on a warrant and made an attempt to capture him.
In the midst of their effort to locate the man, officers advised a gentleman walking his dog to let police know if he sees a man who matches a description they provided the dog-walker. The walker called police about 30 minutes later and officers made an arrest following a brief foot chase.
The man they arrested, 30-year-old Gregory Hudgins, was not the man police originally attempted to apprehend. Still, Hudgins’ four warrants included two felonies.
