Marian Laurene Kipker, age 83, of Three Rivers was carried home by Angels on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. She was born November 4, 1932 in Marcellus, MI the daughter of the late Willard J. and Gleeola (Bent) Griner.
Marian was a graduate of Marcellus High School and was united in marriage to James Kipker on December 20, 1957. She was employed as a receptionist for over thirty years at Dr. Donald Schimnoski’s family practice where she garnered many friendships.
She was preceded in death by husband, James in 2002 and brother, Rolland Griner.
Marian is survived by daughters, Karen (Marvin) Wittendorf, and Sherry (Matt) Poulsen of Three Rivers; son, Thomas (Dina) Kipker of Constantine and Robert (Dana) Kipker of Three Rivers; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Ritchie of Marcellus and Lois Tase of Three Rivers; brother, Howard Griner of Marcellus; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor John Sears officiating.
Interment will be held at Moorepark Cemetery.
