Three vehicle collision causes injuries

Sheriff’s department deputies responded last week to a three-vehicle collision at the border of Fabius and Constantine townships.
Deputies were called shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday to U.S. 131 and Drummond Road, where a southbound pickup driven by a 22-year-old Marcellus man collided into the rear of a vehicle that was stopped to turn left into a driveway.
Two Iowa residents, ages 48 and 47 years, were in the vehicle struck by the pickup. Its occupants were treated at Three Rivers Health.
The pickup also struck a vehicle driven by a 60-year-old man from Three Rivers. He, too, was treated at Three Rivers Health. A 59-year-old passenger declined medical treatment.
The driver of the pickup was cited for driving on a suspended license, no license, failing to stop within a safe distance, no proof of insurance and driving with an expired registration.
