Two White Pigeon residents were arrested this week after leading authorities on a pursuit between Three Rivers and White Pigeon.
According to the Three Rivers Police Department, officers were called at 9 p.m. Monday to the 200 block of East Michigan Avenue in response to a larceny report. Officers discovered a residence had been ransacked and several items stolen, including an air pistol and prescription medication.
Officers obtained a vehicle description and discovered the car, which failed to stop for police. A southbound pursuit on Constantine Road reached speeds of up to 100 miles per hour before the suspect vehicle crashed just inside the White Pigeon village limits.
The driver fled the scene on foot but was later found at a North Kalamazoo Street residence by the department’s K-9 officer.
Stolen property and methamphetamine were found inside the vehicle, according to authorities.
A 22-year-old man and 23-year-old woman were arrested.
