Lois Alene Lucas, 82, of Constantine, died on Sunday, October 9, 2016, at Three Rivers Health. She was born October 12, 1933 in Centreville a daughter of Robert and Ida (Dimmick) Hughes. Lois graduated from Constantine High School in 1953. On July 30, 1955 she married Dale Lucas at Messiah Lutheran Church in Constantine. Lois worked in the banking industry retiring from Michigan National Bank in Three Rivers. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church where she was active in the WELCA and special events of the church.
Surviving are her husband Dale Lucas, Constantine, son Mark R. Lucas Sr., Constantine, daughter Marsha (Robert) Guldi, Galesburg, grandchildren Rayanna Lucas and Mark R. Lucas Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Patricia Everett.
Relatives and friends will be received Wednesday from 4 – 7 pm at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Religious services will be held 11 am Thursday at Messiah Lutheran Church with Pastor Dennis Smith officiating. Cremation will follow services with interment of Ashes in the Constantine Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Messiah Lutheran Church.
