Two Indiana women died following a two-vehicle crash last week in Branch County, just east of Leonidas Township. State police said a car driven by 19-year-old Alexis Schroeder of Valparaiso, was heading south on M-66 at 5:45 p.m. Friday when it failed to stop at the intersection of M-60, just south of the village of Athens. Her car was struck by a westbound semi driven by 28-year-old Aaron Good, of Union City. A passenger in Schroeder’s vehicle, Corrine Johns, age 23, of Porter, Ind., died as a result of the impact of the collision. Schroder was taken to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, where she died Sunday morning.
