Constantine senior Anthony Evilsizor was rewarded for his season-long effort on the gridiron.
The Falcons’ leader was named First Team All-State for Division 5- 6 by the Associated Press. Constantine finished the season in a district semifinals loss to Schoolcraft, giving the Falcons a 6-and-4 record on the season.
Head coach Shawn Griffith said Evilsizor is a hard runner and a good kid.
Evilsizor piled up almost 1,500 yards on the ground this season on 179 carries, resulting in an average of more than 8 yards per carry.
A three-year starter, Evilsizor also scored 29 touchdowns in 10 games and amassed more than 3,000 ground yards during his varsity career.
Evilsizor is also a state champion in track and field. Last year he won the 800-meter run in Division 3 at Comstock Park High School.
