Local church fills Operation Christmas Child boxes

Parishioners and community volunteers were responsible for filling more than 100 shoeboxes with toys, personal care items and other surprises as part of Operation Christmas Child earlier this month at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Colon.

Schemmel said she was confident Colon could send even more boxes in 2016 and was proven correct.
