Share the Magic returns to Colon

Organizers behind the annual benefit, “Share the Magic,” are looking for a dose of community spirit this weekend, as the fifth annual food and fundraiser takes place Saturday.
The 7 p.m. production will be at Colon Elementary School. Admission is a non-perishable item or a financial donation.
Rick Fisher, who has a hand in organizing this year’s show, said all food and financial donations stay in the community.
The entertainment roster is comprised of: John Sherwood, master of ceremonies; Ron Carnell; Mark Kodiak Hassett; Frank Gayda; Justin Holbrook; and John Sterner. All performers have agreed to donate their time and Colon Community Schools is not charging for use of its elementary school.
Fisher said Share the Magic is an event he hopes to be able to continue presenting for several years because of its value to the community.
