A Colon woman was arrested last week on drug-related offenses following a traffic stop in the village of Centreville.
Sheriff’s deputies said a vehicle was stopped shortly after 2 p.m. Nov. 3 for defective equipment. The deputy who initiated the stop eventually found a large quantity of crystal meth and marijuana, investigators said.
The 29-year-old Colon woman was charged with possession of meth and improper transport of medical marijuana.
Charges are being sought against a 36-year-old Sturgis man for possession of meth.
