Three teenagers, including a 15-year-old boy from Constantine, were arrested after being involved in multiple home invasions this week.
State police were alerted shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday that a White Pigeon Township homeowner in the 68000 block of Lutz Road reported a home invasion and his residence was ransacked.
A trooper investigating the incident learned of a possible suspect walking west on Stears Road into the village of Constantine. Officers from the Constantine Police Department, along with additional troopers, soon located all three subjects.
An investigation revealed stolen property from the original caller’s residence as well as the discovery of two additional home invasions in the area.
A 17-year-old boy from Milford, Ind., was charged with home invasion, larceny in a building, possession of marijuana and minor in possession of intoxicants. He was taken to the county jail.
A 15-year-old boy also from Milford and the Constantine boy were charged with home invasion and larceny in a building. They were turned over to the custody of parents and legal guardians.
