Carol Kay Hawkins, age 62, of Lawton, died on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo. She was born in Ft. Wayne, IN on Nov. 20, 1954 the daughter of the late Arthur and Carol (Davis) Mullen and attended school in Ft. Wayne. For many years she resided in Sturgis and Centreville. Carol’s family was everything to her, and a close second was her cat, Coco.
She is survived by her sister, Vicki Hill of Hilliard, OH; two nieces, Debbie (Trent) Gordon of Kenton, OH and Karen (Jim) Tennant of Schoolcraft; a nephew, Rick (Wendy) Hill of Sidney, OH; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017 at the Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon with Rev. Jerry Solis, Pastor of Celebrate One officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mottville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to a charity of one’s choice.
