A White Pigeon Township resident died in a house fire Monday night.
State police were called at 10:20 p.m. to the 19000 block of Fawn River Road after White Pigeon firefighters confirmed a person was inside the structure and had perished in the blaze.
A state police fire-investigation team was called to the scene and will look further into the situation.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined.
The age and gender of the person who died in the fire has not yet been disclosed by authorities.
