Two people were arrested on drug-related offenses after a search warrant was executed Monday at a residence in Cass County’s Mason Township.
The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team responded to the 19000 block of Stateline Road in response to suspicions of drug activity related to the manufacture and use of methamphetamine.
Once inside the residence, detectives located drug paraphernalia for the use of methamphetamine, sheriff’s department officials said.
A 36-year-old female was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house. Meanwhile, a 37-year-old female was arrested for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house, according to authorities.
Both suspects are to be arraigned today in Cass County’s 4th District Court.
Detectives were assisted by representatives from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services personnel regarding two children who were present in the home.
