John Brown, 69

John P. Brown, age 69, of Constantine, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Heartland Health Care in Three Rivers. John was born in Three Rivers on November 27, 1947, a son of Richard “Pete” and Mary (Harding) Brown. He graduated from Constantine High School in 1966. After high school, he attended Central Michigan University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Business. John married Patsy Schieber in 1970 in White Pigeon. He worked at Armstrong International for 37 years, retiring in 2010. John enjoyed coaching little league softball when his daughter was younger, golfing, and bowling.

John is survived by his wife Patsy Brown of Constantine, daughter Lindsey (Ron) Yoder of Three Rivers, grandson Tucker James Yoder, sister Connie (Ben) Allgor of Schoolcraft, brother Mark R. (Marti) Brown of Constantine, brother in law Danny Green of Temperance, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Ruth Green.

Relatives and friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine where religious services will be held on Saturday at 2 pm. Pastor Dan Lane will officiate.
