Leavin Yvonne Mitchell passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at home. She was born on December 29, 1950 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Willie Bord and Minnie (Banks)-Willis.
Leavin was a resident of Three Rivers for over thirty years moving here from Chicago, IL. She was a long time and faithful member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church of Three Rivers.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Chereese Cochran and Stefain Adams of Three Rivers; mother, Minnie Willis of Three Rivers; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren with two more on the way; two sisters and three brothers.
She was preceded in death by her father , one sister, and one nephew.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 until time of services beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at New Jerusalem Baptist church with Pastor Tony Bennett officiating.
Interment will be held at Moorepark Cemetery, Three Rivers.
