VANWORMERWEBPatricia Jane Van Wormer, 78, of Constantine, died on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at the Heartland Health Care Center in Three Rivers following an extended illness.
She was born on March 14, 1938 in Scott, Ind. the daughter of Philip M. and Goldie I. (Balyeat) Gage.
Constantine resident since 1995 coming from Goshen, Ind.
Employed in Quality Control for Bristol Pipe and Lykes Brothers Meat Packing retired in 1988.
She enjoyed traveling and her family and grandchildren.
Married to Jack W. Van Wormer on Oct. 19, 1964 in Elkhart, Ind. He survives with a daughter, Kathleen (Steve) Ewing of Grand Rapids; son, Loran (Denise) Miller of White Pigeon; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gary Gage of Bristol and Bill Gage of New Paris, Ind.; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her son, Michael D. Miller; two brothers, Lee and Robert Gage; and her parents.
Visitation Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at The Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22 with the Rev. Terry Neumayer of Trinity Missionary Church, Constantine, officiating. Interment in Constantine Township Cemetery. Donations may be directed to Heartland Health Care Center; envelopes are available at the funeral home.
