Rick Noel, 55

Richard Duane “Rick” Noel, age 55, of Sturgis, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. He was born in Sturgis, MI on Mother’s Day, May 14, 1961 the son of Lester D. and Marie K. (Overholt) Noel. Rick graduated from Mendon High School with the Class of 1979. He resided briefly in Texas and Louisiana selling insurance before returning to Michigan. Here he worked at Affinity Molding in Mendon and Ronningen Research & Development near Vicksburg. He loved to fish and participated in many Bass tournaments along with his Dad.

Rick is survived by his parents, Lester and Marie Noel of Mendon; a daughter Jessica Noel of Three Rivers; sons, Jonathan Noel of Dowagiac and Justin Noel; three grandchildren, Morgan, Kami, and Kian; a brother, Randy (Tammy) Noel of Finley; three nieces, Kourtney, Kayla, and Christina; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
