Two people were arrested on drug-related offenses last week in Three Rivers.
According to a Three Rivers Police Department media release, a vehicle containing three people was stopped Friday at the intersection of South Main and Mechanic streets. The vehicle was involved in an ongoing drug investigation in Three Rivers, according to authorities.
K9 Django was summoned and confirmed the presence of narcotics.
Information obtained from the traffic stop led officers to a local motel. Django was once again called to investigate, and responded positively to the odor of drugs. Officers found what was described as a substantial amount of crystal methamphetamine packaged for sale, as well as proceeds from suspected drug sales.
A 28-year-old man and 27-year-old woman were arrested for sale of meth and maintaining a drug house. Additional details about the two were not included in a department media release.
