Butch Kathan, 59

Warren W. “Butch” Kathan, 59, of Constantine, passed away at 7:39 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017 at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born on June 12, 1957 in Paw Paw to the late Warren Eugene and Pearl (Dollarhide) Kathan.
On Dec. 29, 2015 he married Jennifer Lynne Vida in Michigan.
She survives along with a daughter, Kayla Moore of Michigan; two step-daughters, April (Troy) Wyatt of Constantine and Terra Howard of Plover, Wis.; two brothers, Stan (Laura) Kathan of Lagrange, Ind. and Robert Kathan of Cadillac; a sister, Sharon Christman of Warsaw, Ind.; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Kathan.
Butch was employed at Elkhart Products since 2003, he also owned and operated his own small business in Constantine.
A Celebration of Butch’s life will take place on Saturday, March 11 at 2 p.m. at the Word of Life Fellowship, 27805 Willard Road, Elkhart, IN 46514. Pastor Delbert Richey will be officiating.
Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with his arrangements.
