Debra Smith, 56

Debra L. Smith, age 56, of Dowagiac, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at home.
She was born October 10, 1960 in Niles, MI the daughter of Stevins George and Arlene Ann (Lundgren) Brown. On September 26, 1981 in Niles, MI she married Curtis L. Smith who survives.
Debra graduated from Niles High School in 1978. She worked 27 years in marketing and advertising and most recently in the medical manufacturing field. Debra was an avid bowler and enjoyed hanging out with friends at the Hide-A-Way. She truly loved her husband, daughter and her two dogs.
Surviving besides her husband Curtis is one daughter, Nicole Smith of Clarksville, MI; her mother, Arlene and two sisters, Becky S. (Dan) Ochoa and Diane K. Ogle all of Niles, MI; her two dogs Allie May & Marley Jean and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and her mother and father-in-law, Wanda and Laird Smith.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held this summer. Arrangements were handled by the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home.
