New dental center opening

My Community Dental Center at Maplecrest Plaza in Sturgis is scheduled to open today.
MCDC offers dental care at an affordable price, said Pearline Bailey, regional manager.
Services cost about 20 percent less than at a private dentist and the clinic accepts all insurance plans, Medicaid patients and residents with no insurance. It provides a sliding-fee scale for the uninsured based on household size and income, Bailey said.
My Community Dental Centers operates on behalf of Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency.
Residents on Medicaid and the uninsured often have difficulty finding a dental provider, said Rebecca Burns, health officer at the health agency.
Two similar dental clinics have been open during the past decade, one in Three Rivers and the other in Hillsdale. A fourth is set to open this spring in Coldwater.
